Thanks Tero for the iPhone game report! Especially, the unlucky start with a bug is something to rememer when game developers ponder how to minimize the potential loss of users in the beginning: "It didn’t help that the first user reviews in both US and UK stores gave the game one star and warned everybody about a bug, which caused the game not to load." I guess one can test never too much, yet, there is often not enough time or resources to do the tests.

Hope your Hopido gets more success. Have you tried to promote the game in any way outside the actual App store (Facebook, company blog, Twitter)? Perhaps a small new launch could help or invitations to potential bloggers and players so they could give their review and invite more people if they like the application?
